Welcome

It was 2001 when I first heard the voice of the Lord instructing me to start a school on the prophetic- specifically on the gifts of the Spirit identified in 1 Corinthians 12 and the Ephesians 4 ministry gifts.

I struggled in prayer for almost a year, not knowing how, where, when, or what to do. Then in 2002, Prophet Paul Stead gave me a word at Love and Faith Church confirming the very thing that I had heard in prayer.

After speaking to my husband, I gathered three faithful friends together and shared my vision with them. They were Robin Strong, Sherry Anderson, and Dawn Satterwhite. They helped me organize the first concept of The Destiny Academy, a day camp for youth. For four weeks in July of 2002, we worked with young people to identify their gifts and talents. We encouraged them to dream big. We ended the month with a phenomenal speaker, Dr. Patricia Morgan, author of the book, How to Raise Children of Destiny. 

In 2003, I began teaching adult classes on the gifts, with four levels of curriculum that I developed through much study and prayer: Prophetic 100, Spiritual Gifts 200, Five-Fold Ministry Gifts 300, and Intercession 400.

July 2008 was our third ministry level when we hosted our first Destiny Academy Advance at Deer Creek State Park. 

Twenty-one years later, we are grateful to God for all the individuals who our ministry has touched. We stand amazed and look forward to all that the Father has already ordained for the years that remain before us.
